Healthy EatingLast Friday was the final in a 4 week course ran at Leeds GATE with Healthy Living Network Leeds. The course covered different areas of health, including infant first aid, keep fit, eyesight health and cancer awareness.  Each week we also cooked a healthy meal, this week we made a low fat cheese cake.  Over the 4 weeks 16 people took part, GATE provided a creche so that young mums also had a chance to participate.

Elaine Mulvenna said of the course, "I enjoyed the first aid most of all, it's really important to know things that can make  a lot of difference in the first few minutes if someone has an accident or falls suddenly unwell".
