This year we will again be hosting open days as a part of the heritage open day series. The last few years have been a great success and we have enjoyed welcoming members, friends, visitors and local communitites into our building. Our members and all communities will be helping us to celebrate and explore Gypsy and Traveller heritage.

Activities on the day will include:

Traditional Gypsy and Traveller craft workshops and demonstrations

Display of traditional old Gypsy Vardo (Wagon)

Family history hub - find out about your Gypsy and Traveller ancestors

Exhibition inspired by our Archives about Gypsies and Travellers and the history of civil rights and protest

The open day events will be held:

Thursday 8th September 2pm - 6:30pm

Friday 9th September 2pm - 6:30pm

There's no need to book, just drop in at any time. Everyone's welcome, we'll have the kettle on.

We hope to see you there!
