Leeds GATE's response to proposed injunctions

Readers of the Yorkshire Evening Post will have seen news last week that Councillor Jim McKenna has persuaded the council to use its legal department to pursue a blanket permanent injunction against unauthorised Gypsy and Traveller camps across three large districts of Leeds.

Community Health Educators Scheme 2011

Every year Leeds GATE runs a Community Health Educators Scheme in partnership with the Healthy Living Network Leeds. Over 6 weeks Gypsy and Irish Traveller women meet every Friday and participate in cooking healthy recipes and take part in other health related activities such as martial arts and keep fit.
