Leeds GATE are recruiting to a new role as our Finance & Admin Manager. You will be integral to the organisation, working to sustain and improve our financial position. You will be part of the management team and work directly with our Director of Operations and Treasurer to deliver on our financial processes and governance tasks. Position: Finance & Admin Manager
Hours: 28-35 hours per week
Salary: £34,082 - £37,810
Leave: 28 days plus 14 Bank Holidays

About Leeds GATE:
This candidate will be joining a vibrant and brave grassroots organisation led by Gypsy and Traveller people in West Yorkshire. Leeds Gypsy and Traveller Exchange (Leeds GATE) is an established and award-winning civil society organisation with a national profile.  We are recognised as being innovative, brave and creative.  Our overall aim is to improve the quality of life for Gypsies and Travellers through addressing inequalities in homes, health, education, and employment, financial and social inclusion. We run a number of a community facing and strategic projects to achieve our aims including advocacy, community development and youth work. Those who access our services and activities are members of Leeds GATE.  

Job Summary

As the Finance & Admin Manager your role will be crucial in ensuring the financial health of the organisation, enabling our sustainability and increasing our ability to address the inequalities faced by our communities in areas such as homes, health, education, employment, financial, and social inclusion.

You will oversee the delivery and management of day to day financial processes, you will also work alongside the administration team to enhance and develop our processes, enabling the team to offer a centralised approach to administrative support across the organisation.

You will be responsible for the production of quarterly management accounts, an annual budget and contribute to continued efforts to improve sustainability.

As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work. Your leadership and strategic vision will be essential in driving the success of our organisation and improving the lives of those we serve.
