Community, cultures and history are important always, but marking them with a celebration month is a great way to get people involved and raise awareness with a great program of events.

Gypsy Roma Traveller History Month is all about all Gypsies and Travellers across West Yorkshire feeling heard and represented and that their culture and heritage is valued. Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller are often put together, but are three distinct ethnic groups with shared roots of being nomadic. Each have their own unique histories and modern day cultures.
