Ways to access this website
Screen readers and talking browsers
There are tools and programmes that allow computers, tablets, and phones to read text aloud or describe what is happening on the screen.
- Windows includes a basic screen reader called Narrator
- Macs, iPhones and iPads have VoiceOver built in
- Android devices include TalkBack
Other popular screen readers include: NVDA, JAWS, Orca, SuperNova, WebAnywhere, and Firevox.
Magnifying the screen
- On Windows, use Magnifier (found in Programs > Accessories > Magnifier).
- On Mac, go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom.
- On mobile devices, zoom and magnification options are available in accessibility settings.
Making the mouse pointer bigger
- On Windows, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers > Mouse > Pointer Options.
- On Mac, go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and adjust the cursor size.
Adjusting mouse speed
- On Windows, go to Mouse Pointer Options and slide the speed bar.
- On Mac, go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad and adjust tracking speed.
Using the keyboard to navigate
If you prefer not to use a mouse, you can move around the site with your keyboard.
- Windows and Mac both provide shortcut keys.
